Very beautiful trekking runs along the highest mountain part of Tajikistan – Gorniy (Mountain) Badakhshan on the heights from 3000 to 4600 m. This is high-mountainous land of ancient legends and inhabitants who still live in their forefathers’ lifestyle.
You will see high-mountain lakes of Pamir surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Visit mountain villages and get acquainted with local people, their traditions and culture. Wonderful excursions are waiting for you in a legendary “Vakhan Corridor” in the valley of Panj, on the border of Afghanistan. The tour ends where you can see the Afghan Hindu Kush Mountains.

Program:
Day1. Meeting at Dushanbe airport, Transfer to a 4* hotel, Rest.
Day2.Transfer from Dushanbe through Kulyab to the Village of Kalaykhumb(370 km, 8-9 hrs, +350m).Accommodation and dinner in theguest house, 1200 m.
Day 3. Transfer Kalaykhumb-KhorogviaRushan village. (360 km, 8hrs, +1930m).
Lunch at a road-restaurant.Arrival to Khorog, 2070m).Walk through the bazaar.Dinner and overnight at the guest house, 2200 m.Departure via Gunt canyon to Bachor village. Acclimatization walking though Bachor.Dinner and overnight at the homestay in Bachor, 3170 m.
Day 4. Trekking(12km, 6-7hrs, +430m)
TrekkingBachor – Kavchspring.Overnight in the tent camp, 3600m.
If the group is very fit, the following additional option is possible by their wish:Overnight in the tent camp, 3600m.
Day 5. Trekking (6km, 4-5 hrs, ±600m)
Breakfast.
Ascent to hot hydrogen sulfide source of Kavch, 4200 m. If you wish – bathing in hot springs (natural healing water, heals skin diseases). Descent to the base camp.
Day 6. Trekking (11 km, 6-7 hrs, +600m)
Trekking Kavch spring – Chashinlake.Overnight in the tent camp, 4200 m.
Day7. Trekking (18 km, 6-7 hrs, +318m, -218m)
Trekking Chashin lake (4200 m) – Zaroshkkullake (4518 m) – Kulen lake (4300 m). Overnight in the tent camp, 4300m.
Day 8. Trekking (12 km, 5-6 hrs, -200m, +200m)
Trekking Kulenlake – Zaurbek pasture (4100 m) – Yechkullake (4300 m). Dinner and overnight in the tent camp.Overnight in the tent camp, 4300m.
Day 9. Trekking (10 km,4-5hrs, +229m)
Trekking from Yechkullake to the fork Yechkul – Langar pass, then cross up to the Chapdarkullake, 4529m. Picnic, walk around Chapdarkul lake. Trekking down to Bachor pasture (4250 m).Caravan with the luggage passes by Langar (4629 m).(5-6 hrs). Dinner and overnight in the tent camp, 4250 m.
Day 10. Trekking (22 km, 7-8hrs, +300m -750m)
Trekking from Bachor pasture down to the Langar river-Guntriver.
Trekking through Buromal pass (3930m) toYashilkullake (3800 m).Yashilkullake crossing (on jeeps or rubber-oar).Departure from Hot spring water (15km, 40 mn). Drive with car. Overnight in the tent camp.
Day 11. Transfer Bulunkul village – Khargush pass (4344 m) – walking along Vakhan canyon, then transfer to Langarvillage(150km, 5-6 hrs). Accommodation and lunch at the guest house (2850m). Visiting of the village.Dinner and overnight at the homestay, 2800m.
Day 12. Transfer Langar village – Yamg village (2650 m)-Ishkashim-Khorog. On the way: visiting of Buddha statue; museum of Sufi MuborakKadam and its solar calendar. Lunch and visiting of Yamchun fortress, BibiFotima-Zukhro hot water spring. Transfer to Ishkashim village, 2450 m. (240km, trip duration8-9hrs, -350m). Dinner and overnight at the restaurantinKhorog, 2200m.
Day 13. Transfer Khorog – Kalaykhumb(230 km, 5 hrs, -1000m).Dinner and overnight in the homestay, 1200m.
Day 14. Transfer Kalaykhumb – Kulyab – Dushanbe (370 km, 7-8hrs, -370km).Dinner and overnight at the hotelShumon 4*.
Day 15. Departure for airport. Flight home Turkish Airlines.

Tourists must be equipped with trekking shoes, sunglasses, waterproof shoes (for river crossing), waterproof wear, warm clothes, sleeping bag, walking sticks etc.
